Mostly the reunion dinner is either steam-bot or home made dish..this is my family reunion dinner, look like we having at restaurant. so delicious and grand.Love it so much.Thanks er ku

i really need to thanks traven and his gf(Laureene) for treating me meal, ~~(thanks lol my fren), actually i already know this restaurant for a long time, just don have a chance to taste the food at there, so overall i think the foods is quite good and special, it's all about taiwan food


as we reach there, there are no place for us, so we have to wait for our turn and place or order at here

1st of all, the soup was fill with a paper instead with a bowl
2ndly the soup is keeping warm with a fire, like we having the traditional steamboat style
3rdly why the paper wont burn up due to the fire???really curious about it haha

Penang Curry Mee-Ayer Itam

my friend said this stall's Curry Mee is very delicious and famous, so we had a try at there. Although i been there for many years but i never try this stalls before. The specialty of this stalls is because of the 2 old grandmas. I so sad to see this 2 old grandma sitting there and selling the food, to be a age of them, they should relaxing and enjoying their life now. But to maintain the cost of living, they still need to sell Curry Mee and sitting there for whole day.
I so proud of this 2 women, their spirit and mental and physical strength are strong.Although the body are tired and old, but they still continuous doing their business.
I saw one of the aunt, her leg had injured badly, she need to walk hard and slow. But she still keep working and washing the plates.

this Curry Mee used Arang Batu the to boil the sup, thus is has the original taste.

2 old women sitting there to serve the customer due to their elder age and the suffering of their legs. Although they are old, but they still show their hospitality to the customer.

Kang Beef House-Jelutong-Penang

Kang Beef House serves variety choice of beef and the styles. In Penang not many Beef stalls due to certain religion. My dad recommended this restaurant to my bf since he loves to taste beef so much. If we try to seach some place for Beef steamboat, this is the place!!

Kang Beef House not only serve steamboat, it also have the famous beef soup noodles and their homemade beef ball.




This area is easily to find and the parking problem is less at here.

homemade chili sauce, without the sauce, the noodle will become normal and taste no good. The chili sauce is one of the main ingredient for a beef noodle to become tasty.

While on the way bec from KL to Penang, we drop by at Nibong Tebal to taste the famous restaurant "Law Chang Kee". The foods are more to Teochew Cuisine which suit my taste so much.

The famous food is their Crab meat Porridge, but they also serve rice too. The ingredients are very fresh and original. The prices are also very reasonable, can consider very cheap too.

Klang Bak Kut Tea

Klang Bak Kut Tea is the most famous food in the West Malaysia, it believed that it has the original taste. The most special of it is there are 2 flavor to choose: wet bak kut tea or dry bak kut tea. The common way of taking Bak Kut Tea is with some Chinese tea and rice.




this is the wet bak kut tea, the taste is very nice and original because the ingredients are only pork ribs, herbs and some mushroom. The pork ribs are boiled inside the herbs soup for few hours until the ribs become tender. Another additional of the dishes is the "YU CHAR KUEY". It taste good when we dip it inside the soup awhile and add on to the rice.



This is the Dry Bak Kut Tea, it's taste nothing like Wet Bak Kut tea, the common things are only they using same pork ribs to cook another flavor of dish. One thing special of this dish is the sauce are special, it taste good. It is the Malaysia Famous Food Icon, so it is a must try dishes.
